Hidradenitis Suppurativa

Conveniently located to serve the areas of Los Angeles and Santa Monica, CA

Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic skin condition characterized by inflammation, occurring specifically when hair follicle blockage causes painful abscesses and draining tunnels. HS typically occurs in the skin fold areas of the body, including the armpits, groin, and below the breasts. Patients with this condition often experience recurrent flare-ups that are uncomfortable and result in drainage and scarring.

Early diagnosis and treatment can prevent HS from worsening so that patients are able to see less long-term scarring. We can diagnose HS and treat it with oral antibiotics, hormonal therapies, steroid injections, biologic therapies, and more. These treatments are designed to target the inflammatory pathways that cause HS. For access to clinical trials studying cutting-edge HS therapies, we invite you to fill out our research form. Participants are closely monitored throughout the process and receive compensation for their time.
